FFA members and additional PC high school students spent the afternoon out at the 105-year-old Kumor Family Farm, pitching in to help maintain existing hedges and clear space for new plants. One of the highlights of the day was a surprise tour of the old potato cellar, which doubled as a fallout shelter. This was definitely a cool bit of Perkins County history for a Friday afternoon!

Students have been learning about weather. For this lesson, they look at rain and made "rainstorms in a cup."

After many years at both Perkins County Schools and Wheatland Public Schools, Dana Lee is preparing to retire. Taking over the PCS Jr/Sr HS Administative Assist. position will be Dawnya Dreiling. Dana is helping train Dawnya to make this a smooth transition.
Elementary Book Bingo (4/15/25):
Last night's event was a huge success! Parents heard from Mr. Reisig about the importance of reading at home, and students played Bingo to win free books. Resources were given out from our Title 1 Program and Grant's Hastings Memorial Library.
