8th Grade Reading:
Many thanks to local resident Renae Bottom, who majored in Holocaust Studies, for speaking with PCS students. Unit 2 in the myPerspectives ELA curriculum is about the Holocaust. Next week students will start reading, “The Diary of Anne Frank.”
Many thanks to the Chase Co. FFA and Mr. Cole for working together and giving each of our PCS High School GBB and BBB team members a pair of pink socks to wear for tomorrow’s Pink-Out games. The Plainsmen will proudly wear these in support of those battling breast cancer. 🎀

Students are invited to participate by reading monthly minutes and earning a Pizza Hut certificate — as well as a chance to go to a movie in the spring. Mrs. Turner, PCS Media Specialist, oversees this reading challenge.

Rhett is the first 3rd Grader to complete all of the 3rd Grade math standards on Study Island. Study Island is a supplemental, online resource PCS teachers and students use to practice math and reading concepts in 3rd-6th grade. #plainsmenpride
