We’re in for a treat during tonight’s National Anthem. Kaylynn Macke moved to Grant from Cambridge this past summer. It’s pretty special that she can reunite with her friend and @CPSTrojans cheerleader, Danika Ervin, for tonight’s duet performance.

It’s #ThrowbackThursday…all the way back to the fall of 1966. In honor of tomorrow’s State XC Meet, here’s a look at another PCHS State XC competitor. When Dr. Cliff Colglazier was a senior at PCHS, he was named named Homecoming King. His mother insisted he stay for the Homecoming Dance, but afterwards his parents drove him to Lincoln yet that night (rolled in at 5 AM) so he could still run in the State XC Meet. Dr. Colglazier also participated in football that same fall. #honoringourpast #perkinscountyplainsmen

K-2 Art: Students created Blotter Bugs. The bugs were made from two primary colors of paint. The resulting effect (when folded together) makes secondary colors.

So glad one of our littlest Plainsmen could swing by for a visit. It’s good to see that his momma, Miss Brandie, is already decking him out in red, black and white! #PlainsmenPride
Geometry:
Sometimes all it takes is a little change — something different to mix things up and engage learners. Today students are using personal wipe boards as they work on identifying, naming, drawing and measuring various angles. #EngagedLearners #WhyWeDoWhatWeDo
4th Grade:
Last week students read a personal narrative about guavas. Today Miss Snogren brought guavas to class for students to try. #NewExperiences @Amplify #CKLA
