5th Grade Science:
Mrs. McCord's students experimented with candy corn. They answered the question, "In which liquids will candy corn dissolve?" Specifically, they are studying the interaction between as solids and liquids in terms of dissolving.
Today the HS Marching Band competed at "Old West Weekend" in Scottsbluff. Their efforts earned them an "Excellent" rating. Congrats to the musicians and Mrs. Lehl!

Kindergarteners read "Creepy Carrots" and were challenged to design and build a structure to keep their carrot from escaping.
Intern Spotlight:
Cooper Kroeker interns at Ride Rite Garage. He repairs trailers, assists the mechanics and performs general maintenance. Cooper plans to pursue a degree in aviation so he can fly airplanes in some capacity. #CTE
Today's hamburgers were provided through the Perkins Co. FFA Farm To School program. Many thanks to our admin and Michelle Ross for grilling the burgers for our staff and students!

Mrs. Lee's students are creating models of a figure from an orthographic drawing. Creating different depths proved to be the most challenging part of this task. PCS uses @McGrawHillK12 Reveal Math materials for Kindergarten through HS Geometry.
