4th Grade Science:
Students are wrapping up their unit on sound and communication. They learned about binary codes. They encoded messages on their iPads, transferred it to paper, changed it to a binary, came up with representations for the number 1 and 0 that they could send *silently* across the room to be entered and decoded on their peers' iPads.
It was a wonderful evening at our PreK Spring Program! It was incredible to see the growth, confidence and joy of our youngest learners shining on the stage. A huge thank you to Miss Brandie, Ms. Janae, and Ms. Katelyn for their hard work and creativity in putting together such a special program. We are also grateful for the continued support from our families and community members; your presence and encouragement make all the difference! Thank you for helping make this night so memorable. #plainsmenpride

Mrs. Lee is working with her students on graphing exponential functions. PCS students in upper-level math and science classes use school-issued TI-84 Plus graphing calculators. (Psst...they can also use these on the ACT test.)
