Chemistry:
Emily was the expert “Sniff-ologist” during today’s lesson. Students timed how long it took her to detect the diffused gases given off by ammonia and cologne. The rate of diffusion/effusion is related to the molecular mass and kinetic energy of chemical compounds.



Yesterday the 4th graders welcomed Dan Hughes, former District 44 Nebraska State Senator (and Easton Colglazier’s grandpa) to give students a briefing on what to expect on Friday's visit to the Capitol building in Lincoln. The bus rolled out this morning at 6:30 AM.

There were 7️⃣5️⃣ PCS students in grades K-6 who earned a trip to Ogallala to watch "Despicable Me 4!" Students turned in monthly reading calendars throughout the school year to earn this opportunity. Thanks to Mrs. Turner for organizing this reading program for our students.
